Arranging for an interpreter
Any person who is unable to fully understand or who has difficulty with English can ask for an interpreter in the courtroom.
Court staff will arrange or interpreter services when they are asked for. The Magistrates Court has locations in:

Interpreters are usually in the courtroom, but a speaker phone will be used where an intefrpreter is only available by phone.

Costs
If the interpreter is arranged by the Court there will be no cost to the person who needs the interpreter service.
